JLCM is Registered in England and Wales and is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Investment Adviser

Chris is a Director of John Laing Capital Management and co-lead Investment Adviser.  He has over 20 years’ experience in infrastructure including PPPs, economic infrastructure and renewables.

Chris joined the Investment Adviser in January 2018. Prior to this, Chris was a Managing Director and Head of Waste & Bioenergy team at the Green Investment Group (formerly the UK Green Investment Bank plc) for four years. During his time at Green Investment Group, Chris was responsible for over £0.5 billion of investment across 18 assets in the waste and biomass sectors.

Before taking up his position at the Green Investment Bank plc, Chris was Head of Capital Markets in the Infrastructure and Renewables team at NIBC, also with responsibility for UK debt origination and advisory within these sectors. Chris was was with NIBC for over 12 years, working on a number of waste and bioenergy transactions.

Chris has a BA in Business Economics from the University of Durham.

Investment Adviser

Chris is a Director of John Laing Capital Management and co-lead Investment Adviser. He has over 15 years’ experience in infrastructure including PPPs, economic infrastructure and renewables.

Chris joined John Laing Capital Management in January 2014.  Prior to this, Chris was a Principal in Henderson’s private equity infrastructure team, often working closely with John Laing on a range of special projects, including the buying of investments, corporate refinancing and valuations.​

For the 18 months prior to joining JLCM he was on secondment to John Laing, focused on renewable energy business as Corporate Finance Director.​

Prior to joining Henderson in 2007, Chris worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers for 11 years, including seven years in the infrastructure concessions team.

Chris is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and has an MA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University.​

JANE TANG

JANE TANG

Investment Director

Jane is an Investment Director and possesses over 18 years’ experience in infrastructure investment and financing in PFI/PPP and renewable energy projects.

Jane joined John Laing Capital Management in January 2014 with responsibilities for business development, asset acquisition and management.  Prior to this, Jane was part of John Laing’s primary investment team in the role of finance lead across a range of green field projects in the renewable energy, waste PPPs and social infrastructure space.

Before joining John Laing in 2007, Jane spent seven years at PricewaterhouseCoopers’ infrastructure advisory team in Singapore and London where she advised public sector clients and private sector bidders on PPP projects.  Prior to PwC, Jane worked for an infrastructure fund and for two European commercial banks in corporate banking.

Jane is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and has a BA in Business Administration from the National University of Singapore.

MUXIN MA

Investment Director

Muxin is a Chartered Financial Analyst with over 9 years’ experience in infrastructure investment, with a focus on concession-based PPP and PFI projects and renewable energy generation projects.

Prior to joining John Laing in July 2015, Muxin was a Principal in the private equity team of Henderson Global Investors.

Before this, Muxin worked on London Underground’s £30 billion Tube PPP programme at Transport for London and was previously in the Transaction Services team at Deloitte.

Muxin has an MSc in Investment Management from Cass Business School in the UK, an ESCP degree in Finance and a BA from Peking University in China.

Head of Portfolio

Joe is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 20 years‘ experience in infrastructure construction and operations he also has experience in origination, and has been involved in buying and selling on the secondary market.

Prior to coming onboard at JLCM full time, Joe was the Asset Director for Renewable Energy at John Laing, having worked for the company for 14 years on a wide range of PPP projects both in construction and operational.

Before joining John Laing he had first-hand experience in construction and operational delivery of a large Schools rationalisation project in Glasgow, and prior to that played a large part in the establishment of the BAM PPP division.

Investment Manager

Ben is a Chartered Financial Analyst with over 8 years’ experience directly in infrastructure and renewable energy investment. Prior to joining the renewable energy sector Ben spent time in UK corporate restructuring & insolvency and in Equity Investment Management.

Before joining JLCM in July 2017, Ben was an Associate Director at Velocita Energy Developments.
Prior to this, Ben worked for Tamar Energy, Falck Renewables, Moorfields CR, Schroder Investment Management and Commerzbank AG.

Ben has a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Durham, graduating in 2004.

JOE MILETIC

JOE MILETIC

Head of Solar Asset Management

Joe is the technical and operational manager for the solar assets with over 7 years’ experience in the renewable energy sector.

Prior to joining JLCM in December 2017, he was the Head of Engineering at Armstrong Energy, responsible for over 200MW of ground mounted rooftop installations.

Joe has an advanced Masters Degree in Renewable Energy from MINES Paristech.

WILLIAM MEZZULLO

WILLIAM MEZZULLO

Head of AD Asset Management

Will is the technical and operational manager for the anaerobic digestion assets and has over 9 years’ experience in the renewable energy sector with a focus on biogas.

Prior to joining JLCM in May 2018, Will was Investment Portfolio Manager at Oxford Capital Partners LLP managing an AD portfolio of over £80m. Before this he worked for Future Biogas, acting as Head of Projects, managing and developing AD assets.

Will has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, specialising in Biogas from the University of Bath and an MBA from the Surrey Business School.

JOE HARDY

JOE HARDY

Head of Wind Asset Management

Joe is the technical and operational manager for the wind assets.

Prior to joining John Laing, Joe was Head of Asset Management for Temporis Capital. In his previous role he was responsible for the oversight of a portfolio of just over 200 MW of renewable energy, equity infrastructure projects spread across various technologies. He also acted as credit steward for a direct lending portfolio of £150mil in structured finance.

Before moving to the UK, Joe worked as part of the legal team for various sport and entertainment talent agencies.

Joe holds a Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern Law School (Los Angeles) and a BA in Economics from Occidental College (Los Angeles).
